"Dragons" was designed by Carl Johan De Geer around 1964. Winding dragon-like figures seem to gape over the generously sized lotus flowers. The inspiration for the pattern comes from childhood. A young De Geer lived in Belgium and received a Tintin album every Christmas, and the cover of 'Blue Lotus' inspired the creation of the 'Dragons' pattern. The lotus flower is recurrent in De Geer's designs.
