Care advice

All sewn products from Frösö Handtryckt have attached washing instructions. For sewn curtains, we recommend airing or dry cleaning, regardless of material, as natural materials can always move/shrink.

Cotton
For our cotton products we recommend a 40 degree wash with a gentle program. Do not spin or tumble dry. Cotton is a natural material that can always move/shrink.

Linen
Airing your textiles goes a long way. If you need to wash your linen, we recommend dry cleaning. As our fabrics do not undergo any water treatment after weaving, the linen's natural shrinkage remains in the fabric. Therefore, we recommend dry cleaning to ensure that products in full linen keep their shape.

Linen/Half linen
Our towels in full linen are washed according to the washing instructions on the product. Do not spin or tumble dry. Linen is a natural material that can always move/shrink. Therefore, we always recommend airing or dry-cleaning linen curtains.

Care instructions for our leather bags with fabric details
To keep your bag looking good over time, we recommend that the leather is lubricated with a caring leather conditioner once a year. This will help preserve the suppleness of the leather and protect it from drying out.

The fabric details should not be washed or spot-treated, as this may affect the print and the structure of the fabric. If necessary, the bag can be gently dusted or wiped with a dry, soft cloth. Store the bag in a dry environment and avoid direct sunlight for extended periods to preserve colors and materials.

Jute
Our Christmas tree mats are hand-printed on jute. Jute is not machine washable. If the rug gets wet, let it air dry. Iron the rug with the pressure down. Store the rug in the tube and it will last for many generations.
