All sewn products from Frösö Handtryckt have attached washing instructions. We recommend that sewn curtains be aired or dry cleaned, regardless of the material, because natural materials can always move/shrink.

Cotton
For our cotton products, we recommend washing at 40 degrees with a gentle program. Do not spin or tumble dry. Cotton is a natural material that can always move/shrink.

Full linen
Airing your textiles goes a long way. If you need to wash your linen, we recommend dry cleaning. Since our fabrics do not undergo any water treatment after weaving, the natural shrinkage of the linen remains in the fabric. Therefore, we recommend dry cleaning to ensure that products in full linen keep their shape.

Linen/Half linen
Our towels in full linen are washed according to the washing instructions on the product. Do not spin or tumble dry. Linen is a natural material that can always move/shrink. Therefore, we always recommend airing or dry cleaning linen curtains.

Care instructions for our leather bags with fabric details
To keep your bag looking good over time, we recommend that the leather is lubricated with a caring leather balm once a year. This helps to preserve the suppleness of the leather and protect it from drying out.

The fabric details should not be washed or spot-treated, as this can affect the print and the structure of the fabric. If necessary, the bag can be carefully dusted or wiped with a dry, soft cloth. Store the bag in a dry environment and avoid direct sunlight for long periods to preserve colors and materials.

Jute
We hand-print our Christmas tree rugs on Jute. Jute is not machine washable. If the rug gets wet, let it air dry. Iron the rug with the print facing down. Store the rug in a tube so it will last for many generations.
