LISBET JOBS

Lisbet Jobs (1909-1961) was a pioneering Swedish Designers whose designs have become symbols of Swedish textile art. With roots in Dalarna and education from both the Technical School in Stockholm and the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin, she combined tradition, nature and a sense of color in a way that still inspires.

At Frösö Handtryck, we currently print two of her classic designs – "Fåglarna" and "Leksandsstolar" – by hand, with care and respect for the original designs.

Welcome to Frösö Handtryck, where we create hand-printed fabrics using traditional screen printing techniques in Nälden, Jämtland. Curtains, cushions, runners, towels and bags are made with care and sustainable water-based pigment colors.

We collaborate with some of Sweden's top Designers, including Gocken Jobs, Emma von Brömssen, Carl Johan De Geer, Lotta Kühlhorn and Toshiyuki Fukuda, whose designs give each textile a unique character.

In our studio we also sew tailor-made curtains, and our bags combine hand-printed fabrics with leather, made under responsible conditions.
