LISBET JOBS

Lisbet Jobs (1909–1961) was a pioneering Swedish designer whose patterns have become symbols of Swedish textile art. With roots in Dalarna and education from both the Technical School in Stockholm and the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin, she combined tradition, nature and a sense of color in a way that still inspires.

At Frösö Handtryck, we are currently printing two of her classic patterns – "Fåglarna" and "Leksandsstolar" – by hand, with care and respect for the expression of the originals.

HANDPRINTED TEXTILES – SWEDISH CRAFT SINCE 1946

Welcome to Frösö Handtryck, where we create handprinted fabrics using traditional screen printing techniques in Nälden, Jämtland. Our collection includes curtains, cushions, runners, towels and bags – all crafted with care using sustainable, water-based pigment inks.

We collaborate with some of Sweden’s most renowned designers, including Gocken Jobs, Emma von Brömssen, Carl Johan De Geer, Lotta Kühlhorn and Japanese designer Toshiyuki Fukuda – each bringing their own artistic expression to our textiles.

In our studio, we also offer custom-made curtains, and our bags combine handprinted fabrics with leather, produced under responsible conditions.
