We print all fabrics in all products in Nälden, in our printing house we have refined the art of printing patterns by hand since 1946. Our screen printing technique means that each color is applied manually, layer by layer, which creates textiles with a unique character and high quality.

We use water-based pigment inks, carefully mixed by hand by our skilled printmakers. Because our method does not require subsequent washing, we save large amounts of water compared to conventional printing techniques.

After printing, the colors are heat-fixed, and each textile is carefully inspected in a manual quality control. At Frösö Handtryck, design, sustainability and craftsmanship meet – a process where each print carries with it a piece of history and solid expertise.

The fabrics for our bags are hand-printed in Nälden using traditional screen printing techniques before being sewn into finished products. At Frösö Handtryck we work with suppliers who share our vision of quality, sustainability and good working conditions. Our leather bags are manufactured in Dhaka, in a factory that follows the Amfori BSCI standards for social responsibility and sustainable production.

The factory employs almost 1,900 people, a large proportion of whom are women, and offers permanent employment, fair wages and a safe working environment. Health checks, fire protection and training are part of the factory standard.

Environmentally, the factory actively works with resource management and sustainable production. This ensures that our bags are manufactured under responsible conditions, where both people and the environment are in focus.
