"Min mormors syster Märta hade en fin liten pergola vid sin sommarstuga, där fanns en spaljé för klätterväxter som jag minns ungefär som det här mönstret. Jag tänkte också på stolsitsar, flätning och rotting, korgar och väv.
It was fun to combine different colors. Green tape on yellow paper. Blue tape on red paper, or how about green tape on pink paper? The variations are endless, just like the colors of the trellis and the sky in Märta's pergola during different hours of the day."
