For those who want to sew their own curtains, pillows, tablecloths, or tapestries. "Pappas Katt" serves as both a backdrop and an eye-catcher—the pattern is clean and graphic and complements a room without drawing too much attention to itself.
Karin Mannerstål created the pattern based on a gouache painting that her father, Sven Westerberg, painted in the 1950s. It is a prime example of her design language—playful and whimsical combined with minimalist and graphic elements. Karin’s collaboration with Frösö Handtryck shaped the company in the early 2000s and gave Swedish textile printing a modernized look.
During our anniversary year—marking 80 years since the printing company was founded in Jämtland in 1946—we’re bringing back one of the most beloved patterns from our archives for a limited time.

Return the fabric uncut and in its original condition within 12 months, and we’ll help you find a solution. We do not accept partial returns of fabric orders.
