Melon is one of Marie Gudme Leth's most characteristic patterns – originally designed in 1943 and now hand-printed at Frösö Handtryck. The dense, organic pattern of leaves, fruits and flowering plants grows together in a vibrant composition that brings to mind William Morris, but with a lighter and more Nordic color palette.
Printed on 100% linen using traditional screen printing techniques in our workshop in Jämtland, Melon is an excellent choice for curtains, furniture and other interior design projects where you want to create a vibrant, artistic expression with roots in both modernism and natural romanticism.
