Marie Gudme Leth (1895-1997) was a prominent Danish textile artist who achieved great recognition both in Denmark and internationally. Thanks to her pioneering efforts, fabric printing gained the same status as other crafts. Her beautiful designs fascinate and charm – and are still relevant today. With her design, she wanted to spread beauty in people's homes, and with our production, we hope to revive her vision.
This pattern, "Kirsebær" is one of Marie Gudme Leth's most iconic designs, made in 1946.
