"My grandmother's sister Märta had a nice little pergola at her summer cottage, where there was a trellis for climbing plants that I remember much like this pattern. I also thought of chair seats, wicker and rattan, baskets and weaving.
It was fun to combine different colors. Green tape on yellow paper. Blue tape on red paper, or how about green tape on pink paper? The variations are endless, just like the colors of the trellis and the sky in Märta's pergola during different hours of the day."
