For most people, the name Jobs is synonymous with the richly patterned fabrics that have been classics of Swedish textile art since the 1940s and have achieved international renown. What is less well known is that Lisbet Jobs (1909–1961) and her sister Gocken Jobs (1914–1995) initially trained as ceramicists.
Rosengång was designed for textiles by Gocken Jobs in 1960. The pattern is inspired by the Rococo style, with its scrollwork and garlands, while the name comes from the “rosengång” weaving technique.
With its beautiful drape, it is particularly suitable for curtains, cushions and light upholstery in private homes.
