Lotta Kühlhorn, one of Sweden's foremost and most beloved designers, adds joy to our homes with her colorful design language. A recurring theme is edibles, such as the stately artichoke, an almost mythical vegetable.

"I like artichokes a lot. Both because it is festive to eat but also because of the way the large plant looks. The contrasts between the prickly, almost dangerous leaves and the bulbous, tightly held shoots that almost look like a flower. 

I originally painted them in black on greenish-blue, hence the name "Mushrooms in Moonlight", but here I have let them bloom in bright colors that I like very much."
