The Opera Fantasia pattern is Emma von Brömssen's contribution to the Gothenburg Opera's 30th anniversary collection.

The fish are dancing, the swans are singing and the water in the river is playing. Together with the lions of Gothenburg, they all play different roles in an ongoing play - an undulating history of performing arts. The graphic interlace pattern is inspired by East Asian porcelain, which for centuries has been transported across the world's oceans to this very spot. The colors are taken from the color scheme of the opera house, the sky blue facade and the warm terracotta of the interior.
