Toshiyuki Fukuda

Toshiyuki Fukuda

Toshiyuki Fukuda is a Japanese designer and illustrator known for his detailed and poetic expression. His work spans several creative fields, from book and magazine illustrations to product design and artistic collaborations. With a distinctive style inspired by nature and mythological elements, he has established himself as a prominent illustrator both in Japan and internationally.

For Frösö Handtryck, Fukuda has created the exclusive pattern "Mori no Seirei" , which means "Spirit of the Forest" in Japanese. The pattern is a tribute to the mystique of the forest and the deep connection between nature and culture. With an intricate design language, he captures the magic of the forest in a harmonious balance between organic shapes and carefully composed details. This pattern is hand-printed on our textiles, giving each product a unique sense of craftsmanship and tradition.
